Easy Asian Chicken Marinade
Bare, plain chicken be gone! This simple marinade evokes the exotic flavors of Asia. This recipe is the perfect flavor base in which to marinade chicken that will pair perfectly with any Asian-themed meal. I like to use it in stir fry.
3 T tamari or soy sauce
4 T orange or pineapple juice
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp ginger paste or freshly grated ginger
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 T water if needed
1 tsp chili paste (optional)
Chopped cilantro (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a large bowl. Use a whisk to mix if you have one.
Add raw chicken breasts and flip them over a couple times to coat with the mixture.
Place the chicken in Ziploc freezer bag and pour the marinade in also.
Label, date and throw it in the freezer! You’re all set.
This Asian chicken marinade will create a deliciously-flavored chicken breast that is the perfect protein to use in Asian dishes. I like to saute it in a stir fry and serve with cauliflower rice.
